Full Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage fraud investigations, forensic accounting engagements, contract compliance matters, and dispute and litigation consulting engagements.

  • Review and analyze financial information, accounting records, tax returns, court pleadings, and other relevant documentation in support of litigation and dispute matters.

  • Oversee litigation discovery efforts, including document requests, data analysis, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Direct the development and review of financial models and analyses for litigation support and forensic accounting engagements.

  • Lead complex fraud investigations, including embezzlement, financial reporting fraud, Ponzi schemes, healthcare fraud, and other matters.

  • Manage dispute and litigation consulting engagements, including partnership disputes, billing disputes, real estate disputes, post-acquisition disputes, intellectual property disputes, lost profits analyses, lost wage analyses, and other matters.

  • Serve as the primary client relationship manager, overseeing engagement execution, client communications, budgets, invoicing, collections, deliverables, and presentations.

  • Provide leadership to engagement teams by supervising project execution, managing resources, and ensuring adherence to Armanino's A+ Execution standards.

  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members through performance management, career development, and ongoing feedback.

  • Contribute to practice growth initiatives by helping build team culture, enhancing operational scalability, and supporting strategic objectives.

  • Develop, manage, and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients, attorneys, referral sources, and other industry professionals to identify and generate new business opportunities.

  • Support business development efforts through proposal development, networking activities, industry involvement, thought leadership, and client presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related area of study.

  • CPA license, and/or CFE, and/or MAFF, and/or CFF.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience providing litigation support, investigations, forensic accounting, and dispute consulting services.

  • Experience managing client engagements, budgets, project teams, and client relationships.

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex fraud investigations and litigation consulting engagements.

  • Strong business development and relationship management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial modeling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Other credentials related to fraud and forensic investigations, business valuation, dispute consulting, or litigation support.

  • Experience developing and mentoring high-performing consulting teams.

  • Demonstrated success in business development, client expansion, and practice growth initiatives.

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. The compensation range for this position: $166,600 - $227,100. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
