Full Job Description
Position Summary:

Responsible for leading and managing complex business valuation and strategic advisory engagements, providing clear, data-driven insights and facilitating high-level strategy development with C-suite clients. This position oversees advanced financial analyses, drives business development, mentors team members, and represents the firm in client meetings and industry events to support growth and thought leadership.

Your Impact (Essential Duties):
  • Lead and manage complex business valuation and strategic advisory engagements, ensuring successful execution and high client satisfaction
  • Serve as a strategic partner to C-suite executives, advising on mergers and acquisitions, capital planning, succession, and other high-impact business initiatives
  • Oversee the preparation and review of advanced financial models and valuation analyses, delivering clear, data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Facilitate high-level strategy development sessions, helping clients design and implement actionable plans to achieve their long-term business objectives
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships, proactively offering additional services that align with evolving client needs
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on growth strategies, business development initiatives, and service line innovation
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to junior and mid-level team members, supporting professional development and deepening technical expertise in valuation and advisory
  • Represent the firm in client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and thought leadership
  • Perform other duties and display flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadership
  • Meet annual billable hour and other targets to fulfill individual and team performance and overall firm productivity


Your Background:
  • Required - 10+ years of experience in business valuation or related work
  • Required - CPA and/or ASA, along with one or more of the following credentials: CVA, ABV, CBA
  • Required - Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • Deep expertise in valuation methodologies and their application in diverse industries
  • Proven experience advising senior executives and managing high-value client relationships
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a strong executive presence
  • Strong passion for continual learning and desire to master complex subject-matter
  • Ability to manage multiple large-scale engagements and lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong business acumen and a demonstrated ability to think strategically and entrepreneurially
  • Experience with buy- and sell-side advisory, financial due diligence, or enterprise growth strategy
  • Demonstrated track record of driving business development and expanding client accounts
