Scheurer Specialty Care - GynecologyAdvanced Practitioner Full Time - 80 hours/payScheurer is seeking a full-time Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) to work at our Scheurer Specialty Care-Pigeon/Harbor Beach.
The Advanced Practitioner will be responsible for:
- Examining and treating patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals.
- Ensures proper illness diagnosis and injury care is administered, as well as disease prevention, education, and recovery.
- Prescribes medications to patients as indicated.
- Working with the supervising practitioner and clinic staff
- Coordinates the care of patients and facilitates efficient and effective movement through the health care system.
- Proficient use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Job Requirements:
- Individual will be a graduate of an accredited program.
- Certified by a national board examination and licensed in the State of Michigan.
- Must hold both BLS and ACLS certification.
- Must be eligible or have obtained a DEA number for prescriptive authority in Michigan.
