Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).
You will work closely with a collaborative team of physicians, behavioral health professionals, and support staff to ensure patients receive comprehensive, judgment-free care.
In this particular role, we are looking for an APRN who is willing to float to our different clinics in the Hot Springs, AR area (Hot Springs, Hot Springs Village, Malvern, Arkadelphia, Bryant, Mount Ida) as needed to support patient care.Key Responsibilities- Perform physical exams, patient assessments, and detailed medical, family, and social histories.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses in a primary care setting.
- Provide patient-centered Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) services and support adherence to treatment plans.
- Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic and laboratory tests.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate.
- Educate and counsel patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle changes.
- Coordinate care with supervising physicians, specialists, and other team members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and Meaningful Use (MU) goals.
Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Two years experience as an APRN required.
- Current Arkansas APRN license and DEA registration.
- Experience providing Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered, community-based healthcare.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
