Job Description

The successful applicant will be an Advanced Practice Provider interested in providing primary medical treatment, patient management, and critical care, in collaboration with licensed Orthopaedics, to assist with clinic, inpatient consults and in the OR.

Required Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant.

  • All certifications must be current and complete prior to start date: Basic Life Support (BLS).

Position Highlights:
  • Takes comprehensive history and performs physical examinations
  • Assist with clinic, inpatient consults and OR
  • Provide medical care for athletes on and off the field for multiple local high schools and USCL athletic programs.
  • Deliver sideline and event coverage for athletic competitions and practices as needed.

  • Attends and provides midlevel assistance as appropriate in the performance of high-risk procedures requiring specialized expertise; counsels families prior to, during, and/or after the execution of procedures, as required
