Neurology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) Opportunity – St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital | Prime Healthcare

 

⸻Position SummarySt. Mary of Nazareth Hospital is seeking a Neurology Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Neurology team. The APP will work closely with Neurologists and multidisciplinary staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with a wide range of neurological conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, neurological examinations, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.• Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions under established clinical protocols.• Provide inpatient consultations and assist with follow-up care and discharges.• Conduct outpatient visits, manage follow-ups, and coordinate ongoing care.• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests (EEGs, imaging, labs) as appropriate.• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive measures.• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
