Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner ready to step into a
hybrid leadership role, combining hands-on patient care with oversight of a team of Advanced Practice Providers. This is an opportunity to
lead, mentor, and influence care delivery while staying clinically active in a fast-paced urgent care environment.
What You'll DoClinical Responsibilities (Approximately 75%)- Evaluate and treat patients across a wide range of acute conditions (e.g., respiratory illness, minor injuries, infections)
- Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
- Order and interpret diagnostics (X-rays, EKGs, labs)
- Identify higher-acuity cases and appropriately escalate to ER when needed
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across all age groups
Leadership & Administrative Responsibilities (Approximately 25%)- Lead and directly supervise a team of APPs within the service line
- Coach and mentor providers to improve clinical quality and performance
- Monitor key metrics (clinical, operational, patient satisfaction) and drive improvements
- Partner with Medical Directors and site leaders on staffing, workflows, and provider utilization
- Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of APPs
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
QualificationsEducation- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
Licensure & Certifications- Current PA or NP license in applicable state
- National Board Certification
- Active DEA registration
Experience- Minimum of 12 months of experience in an Urgent Care, Emergency Department, or similar fast-paced clinical setting
- Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or administrative experience preferred
- Experience coaching or mentoring providers strongly preferred
