Relocation Assistance Offered Within Country Job Number #175993 - Overland Park, Kansas, United States As the Advanced Analytics - Retail you will be responsible for the secure access, extraction, and transcription of data analytics from the retail data that supports the business and brand strategies. This data transformation is critical for providing clean, high-fidelity datasets used to craft strategic opportunities to drive Hill's growth, share, and overall profitability. This position will work closely with the commercial teams to ensure alignment to strategies, data fidelity and efficient execution of data outputs. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the subject matter expert for retail data ingestion, transformation, and transcription, ensuring high data integrity • Operate effectively within a secure clean room environment, adhering to strict data handling standards • Securely access, query, and process raw retail data to generate clean, governed, and actionable datasets for strategic analysis • Design and develop commercial and marketing predictive models, including customer retention, prospect acquisition, and next-best-action strategies • Enforce rigorous data governance and security protocols to ensure compliance with clean room operational requirements • Partner cross-functionally with commercial teams to align data outputs with modeling requirements and business objectives • Drive the automation and scalability of retail data workflows, enhancing capabilities for self-service analytics • Deliver accurate and timely ad-hoc data analysis and reporting focused on key retail channel insights • Provide expert-level retail data reporting and business intelligence to drive data-informed decision-making Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Data Science, Marketing, or related field • 5+ years of related experience focused on secure data handling, data science, or transcription within a regulated environment • Proven experience with building dashboards and reporting using standard visualization tools (DOMO & Sigma preferred) • Expertise in SQL and programming languages (R/ Python) for advanced analytics and model building • Proven ability to create predictive models using complex methodologies - gradient boosting, logistic regression, k-means clustering, etc Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with marketing, commercial environments • Experience in breaking down sophisticated data transformation problems to find data solutions that lead to business growth • Proficiency in cloud-based data storage and processing (e.g., GCP, AWS) • Proven experience working within a "clean room" or secure data enclave environment • Experience with retail data providers (e.g., IDEXX, or similar data) • 4+ years experience in Business Analytics • Experience in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) or Animal Health industry • Familiarity with data governance policies and PII compliance best practices • Experience with utilizing AI for business intelligence natural language processing and querying Compensation and Benefits Salary Range $109,600.00 - $155,000.00 USD Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles. Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws.
