Full Job Description
The Advanced Analytics Analyst is a highly skilled position that will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. Leveraging expertise in Power BI, SQL, and Python to extract, analyze, and visualize data, providing valuable insights that will inform critical business strategies. The Advanced Analytics Analyst will drive collaboration with cross-functional departments including the Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Financial Planning and Analysis and Special Project teams, while facilitating information sharing of new analytics concepts and systems. Responsibilities: • Utilize SQL and Databrick to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources. • Clean, preprocess, and organize data to ensure its accuracy and reliability. • Develop and implement advanced statistical and machine learning models to address business challenges. • Identify trends, patterns, and outliers in data to uncover actionable insights. • Conduct A/B testing and hypothesis testing to drive data-backed decision-making. • Create visually appealing and informative dashboards using Power BI to present insights to stakeholders. • Prepare and deliver regular presentations to convey insights and recommendations to key stakeholders. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decisions align with business objectives. • Communicates project plans and articulates project goals, while incorporating timelines and due dates; Implements finished project with customer • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing analytics processes and tools. • Preform and create forecasting models and predictive analytics for processes, financial results, and other metrics • Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics). • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment. • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. • Programming skills in Python • Experience with Databricks, Workday, and Microsoft PowerBI Fabric a plus • Expertise in data visualization tools, especially Power BI. • Familiarity with machine learning techniques and statistical analysis. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business insights. • Strong team player and ability to collaborate across departments. • Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
