Overview Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Manager, Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides leadership in both clinical and administrative functions. This role oversees the operational management of APPs, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, and alignment with institutional goals. The Manager APP drives quality initiatives, policy development, and program implementation to enhance care delivery.
This role supports Advance Practice Provdiers accross both CT Surgery and Cardiology; inpatient and outpatient.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Required :
- 5 years APP experience
- Enhanced knowledge of pediatric patient care principles with the ability to manage specialty patient care and emergencies by prioritizing patient acuity, collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams, and communicating critically and comprehensively both verbally and in writing.
- Experience in Pediatric Cardiac care
Preferred :
- Formal leadership experience.
- Pediatric clinical experience with demonstrated leadership in managing APP operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, policy development, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery.
Education/Licensure/Certification Required: Education/Licensure Required :
• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
• PA - Physician Assistant State License or NP - Nurse Practitioner License
• DEA - Drug Enforcement Administration
• BLS - Basic Life Support
• PALS -Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Certification (NP) Required :
• Pediatric Nurse-Practitioner Acute-Care OR DUAL
• Pediatric Nurse-Practitioner Primary-care
• Family Nurse-Practitioner (Post-Master's Pediatric Preferred)
Pay Scale Information $162,718.40-$221,282.88CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
