DescriptionThe Heart Valve Center at NYU Langone Health is looking to add a motivated, experienced adult cardiac surgeon who will support and work independently on an array of cardiac surgeries. The primary surgical focus will be valve disease; including complex multivalve disease and high-risk re-operative open heart surgeries. The current practice encompasses all components of cardiac surgery and Transcatheter Procedures. The Transcatheter Procedures include TAVR, MV clip, TMVR, TTVR, TriClip and other investigational mitral and tricuspid therapies. All procedures are performed in the new state-of-the-art surgical suites and hybrid operating rooms in the modernized Kimmel Pavilion. There may be an opportunity to help grow NYU Brooklyn Cardiac Surgery Program as well.
Qualifications- Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiac Surgeon
- 3-5 or more years post-training experience
- Independent primary operator experience
- Extensive TAVR experience
- New York State medical license

The salary range for the role is $450,000 - $650,000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
