Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000 / year

Description

Nursing Home Facility now seeking an RN as
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Tasks and Responsibilities include working under the supervision of our DON to:
  • Direct, evaluate and supervise all resident care, initiate corrective action as necessary
  • Assess resident care needs and assist in development of individualized care plans
  • Conduct resident care conferences
  • Report problems to the Administrator and the DON
  • Conduct daily resident rounds and initiate corrective action as necessary
  • Conduct staff meetings with all shifts
  • Assume responsibility for nursing service compliance to federal, state and local regulations Direct allocation of nursing service equipment and supplies
  • Supervision and Scheduling
  • Conduct interviews and hire nursing service employees
  • Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Establish good public relations with hospital discharge coordinators
  • Consistently demonstrate responsibility, accountability, and dependability
  • Work cooperatively with facility administration, nursing personnel, ancillary personnel, all facility departments
