POSITION: ADAS Lead System Integration Engineer

LOCATION: Santa Clara, California

LINE MANAGER: AAD North America Senior Manager

RECRUITMENT RANGE: $140,000-$165,000

Reporting to the AAD North America Senior Manager, the ADAS Lead System Integration Engineer will support the end-to-end system bring-up, integration, and issue management of ADAS features at the vehicle level. Collaborating with a global, cross-functional engineering community, you will help ensure seamless system performance from early integration through to validation and production readiness.

The successful candidate will contribute to solving complex integration challenges, support effective issue resolution, and play an important role in delivering high-quality ADAS functionality into real world vehicle programs. What you will be doing:
  • Supporting and taking responsibility for end-to-end integration of ADAS features across sensors, ECUs, software and networks
  • Steering the bring-up, configuration, flashing and calibration of ADAS sensors (camera, radar, ultrasonic)
  • Leading and collaborating on complex system issue triage, root cause analysis and resolution across cross-functional teams
  • Coordinating vehicle-level testing, validation and sign-off to ensure performance and quality targets are met
  • Ensuring robust system integration to minimize late-stage defects and repeat issues
  • Acting as the technical interface between ADAS feature teams, integration teams, and external partners/suppliers
  • Influencing system design and integration strategies to enable successful feature delivery
  • Supporting cross-system issue resolution with wider vehicle engineering teams
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineers within the integration team
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of integration, validation and issue management processes


What you will need:
  • Significant experience in vehicle-level ADAS system integration and delivery
  • Strong understanding of ADAS architectures (sensors, ECUs, networks, data flows)
  • Proven ability to lead complex system issue resolution and cross-functional coordination
  • Solid knowledge of ADAS sensors (camera, radar, ultrasonic; lidar desirable)
  • Experience with vehicle diagnostics, networks and system-level analysis tools
  • Ability to interpret logs, signals and vehicle behavior to identify root causes
  • Experience working across requirements, integration, validation and sign-off phases
  • Working knowledge of UDS, Vector toolchains, and embedded OS (Linux/QNX)
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across engineering teams and suppliers
  • Ability to lead technically, mentor others, and operate effectively in complex environments


Schedule: Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus in addition to a full range of medical/health, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick/personal, and parental leave).
