Acquisition Manager - Chevy Chase Acura

Location: Bethesda, MD
Department: Pre-Owned Sales

As Maryland's premier Acura dealership, we understand that acquiring high-quality inventory is the foundation of our success. This position is responsible for sourcing and purchasing vehicles through customer trade-ins, service drive opportunities, private-party purchases, internet leads, and digital buying platforms while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, analytical, customer-focused, and passionate about building one of the strongest pre-owned inventories in the market.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and acquire quality pre-owned vehicles through customer trade-ins, private-party purchases, internet leads, service drive opportunities, and off-street acquisitions.
  • Conduct professional vehicle appraisals using market data, vehicle history reports, and dealership inventory needs.
  • Build relationships with customers interested in selling their vehicles, regardless of whether they purchase another vehicle.
  • Follow up promptly with acquisition leads generated through the dealership website, CRM, KBB Instant Cash Offer, Acura Accelerated Purchase Program, and other lead sources.
  • Negotiate vehicle purchases while maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor local and national market trends, pricing, inventory levels, and competitor activity.
  • Work closely with the Sales, Service, and Recon teams to prioritize acquired inventory for reconditioning and retail readiness.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure timely follow-up on all acquisition opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly acquisition, gross profit, and inventory objectives.
  • Represent Chevy Chase Acura with professionalism, integrity, and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications

  • Proficient with dealership CRM and DMS systems.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Compensation & Benefits

Annual Earnings:$60,000-$110,000+

Compensation includes:
