Accounting Manager Location: West Jordan, UT (hybrid, 1-2 days in office)
Pay: $90,000-$100,000
About the RoleNOW CFO is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our client's team, a well-established, growing company with a close-knit, family-style culture. This is a true hands-on leadership role where you'll run the day-to-day accounting function, guide a small and supportive team, and be a trusted partner to senior leadership. There is also an opportunity to grow into a Controller role.
Responsibilities- Own the month-end close
- Prepare for the annual audit
- Manage cash and complete bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain fixed assets
- Support tax preparation with the outside CPA firm
- Handle multi-state sales tax
- Manage property tax filings (UT, WY, ID)
- Prepare annual reports and 1099s
- Set up new stores, including bank accounts and licenses
- Serve as backup for AP, payroll, and sales
Must-Haves- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Cash flow analysis experience
- Working knowledge of tax law
- Understanding of payment processes
- Positive attitude
