Accounting Manager
The Big Picture:
We are seeking a high-energy, technically sharp Accounting Manager who is a true "builder and do-er." This is not a hands-off, purely supervisory role; you will be deeply involved in the daily execution of accounting functions while simultaneously helping us implement and optimize NetSuite.
Your core focus will be mastering the general ledger, driving the NetSuite migration, establishing robust inventory and revenue controls across multiple brands, and building scalable processes from the ground up.
Location: This position will work onsite out of our Corporate Office in Sandy Springs, GA Monday - Friday.
What that looks like day to day:
- NetSuite Implementation & Optimization:Serve as the accounting lead for our NetSuite ERP implementation. Clean up legacy data, map the new chart of accounts, andbuild outcustom reports to support a multi-brand retail/QSR environment.
- Hands-On General Ledger Mastery:Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. Personally prepare and review complex journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Process Building:Evaluate legacy, fragmented accounting workflows across our brands and design streamlined, scalable processes fit for a transforming business.
- Retail & QSR Financial Controls:Ensureaccuraterevenue recognition from POS systems, manage inventory accounting (including waste and cost of goods sold across locations), and implement strict internal controls.
- Audit Readiness:Build clean, auditable schedules and act as the main point of contact for external auditors during year-end reviews.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and work side-by-side with a lean accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a retail, restaurant, hospitality, franchise, or other multi-unit consumer business.
- Experience working within ERP systems; NetSuite experiencestronglypreferred.
- Prior experience supporting an ERP implementation, system conversion, or data migration is a plus.
- Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel, including financial analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and data management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, ora relatedfieldrequired.
- CPA or CMA designation preferred.
