Job Summary:

We are seeking a Accounting Manager To direct the operations of the Accounting Department; prepare financial reports, including annual plan and operating budgets; ensure complete, accurate, and timely completion of financial and accounting records for the Credit Union and prepare analysis of operations for management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversees the daily operations of department.

- Prepares or oversees preparation of all financial, statistical, and accounting records of the credit union.

- Hires, reviews, schedules, trains, and monitors the work of direct reports: conducts performance reviews; allocates resources to meet operational needs within the department; reviews and approves, denies, or modifies department recommendations from subordinates.

- Works with auditors/examiners on year-end and comprehensive audits.

Qualifications:

- 4-6 Years of similar experience, including leadership experience

- (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g. information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
