Position Summary

The Accounting Director reports to the Controller and works closely with the CFO, Bishop Street C-Suite and Operating Companies to support the Accounting and Financial Reporting functions across the platform. You will be responsible for supporting the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of the Company's accounting and financial reporting.

The Accounting Director will oversee key accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, account roll forwards, intercompany accounting and accounts payable review and approval. You will also support complex accounting matters, special projects, and the integration and cleanup of acquired companies - work that looks a little different each time, since the accounting environment itself keeps evolving as new entities, systems, and intercompany relationships come onto the platform.

Key requirements of the position include strong technical accounting skills, exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, organization and a strong sense of urgency. The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines is essential. You will work closely with the Controller and broader finance team to ensure compliance with GAAP and established accounting policies and procedures and to support accurate and timely financial reporting across the platform.

This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial-minded accounting professional to play a key role in a fast-growing, private equity-backed company. With strong organic growth, multiple inorganic opportunities and integration at any given time, and new strategic initiatives on the horizon, the company is scaling rapidly - which means the accounting function itself is still being built out, giving this person real input into how it takes shape. Backed by a top-tier PE firm, this role offers exposure to the C-Suite and the opportunity to help build and scale the Company's accounting infrastructure, and the chance to grow alongside a dynamic, collaborative and high-performing team.
