Lead complex client engagements, develop high-performing teams, and help drive the continued growth of Crowe’s Accounting Advisory practice.

As an Accounting Advisory Manager, you will work directly with senior finance leaders across a variety of industries to address complex accounting, financial reporting, transaction, and finance transformation challenges. You will own engagements from planning through delivery, coach and develop team members, and contribute to client relationships and market growth. The role offers meaningful client exposure, varied project experience, and a clear opportunity to expand your leadership and advisory capabilities. Work arrangements will vary by engagement and may include remote, office, and client-site work, with travel as business needs require.

• Lead accounting advisory engagements from scoping through final delivery, with accountability for objectives, staffing, timelines, budgets, risks, quality, and client communications.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior finance stakeholders by anticipating concerns, resolving issues, and presenting practical recommendations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain alignment among clients, engagement teams, auditors, and other stakeholders.

• Research and analyze complex transactions, apply relevant accounting guidance, and prepare clear technical memoranda and other client-ready deliverables.
• Advise clients on complex transactions, purchase accounting, SEC and financial reporting matters, accounting standard implementation, and audit readiness and remediation.
• Provide accounting and reporting support tailored to the needs of clients across multiple industries.

• Evaluate, design, and implement improvements to close, consolidation, reporting, controls, and other accounting and finance processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, data quality, and decision support within finance organizations.
• Monitor relevant accounting, regulatory, and industry developments and translate them into practical client guidance.

• Supervise, coach, and develop engagement team members through clear expectations, timely feedback, mentorship, and review of work products.
• Promote collaboration, accountability, quality, and continuous learning across engagement teams.
• Serve as a technical resource while continuing to expand expertise across complex accounting and financial reporting matters.

• Identify emerging client needs and opportunities to expand relationships and deliver additional value.
• Support proposals, presentations, and other business-development activities in collaboration with practice and cross-functional leaders.
• Contribute to recruiting, thought leadership, service development, and other initiatives that strengthen the practice and its market presence.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant experience in accounting advisory, technical accounting, financial reporting, corporate finance, or recent public accounting external audit.
• Active Certified Public Accountant license.
• Demonstrated experience leading engagements and developing accounting professionals.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities while maintaining quality, accountability, and effective stakeholder communication.
• Strong analytical, project management, and written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to travel up to 30% annually based on client and business needs.

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Public accounting or accounting advisory experience serving clients across multiple industries.
• Experience with complex transactions, purchase accounting, SEC reporting, accounting standard implementation, audit readiness, or finance transformation.
• Experience supporting business development, proposals, presentations, recruiting, or market-facing thought leadership.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,400.00 - $205,300.00 per year.
