This is the third seat on a small account management team, and it is a selling role. You will own a book of startup customers end to end: keeping them, growing them, and making sure the product is actually driving the outcomes they bought it for. Retention and expansion are your numbers, and you will be expected to go find the expansion rather than wait for it to surface.
Because the team is still small, the way you run your book shapes the way the team runs. You will work closely with the Head of Customer Success and, shortly, a dedicated account management manager, in an organization where process is still being written and good ideas land quickly. Responsibilities
Own a portfolio of startup and small-business accounts, carrying retention, expansion and satisfaction targets
Identify and close expansion opportunities across the product suite, not just seat growth
Run executive-level business reviews with data-driven recommendations tied to customer outcomes
Anticipate customer needs and connect product usage to the business results the customer cares about
Prioritize strategically across a large portfolio while hitting quarterly targets
Partner with customer experience, activations and sales to keep the customer journey coherent
Contribute to the account management playbooks and processes as the team scales
