Job Summary:
The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing assigned customer accounts across the Americas region. This role serves as the primary commercial focal point for assigned customers and supports business growth through customer engagement, account planning, proposal coordination, contract management, and opportunity development. The position works closely with Program Management, Customer Support, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance to ensure alignment between customer expectations and company objectives while supporting long-term customer satisfaction and business growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Account Management & Customer Relationships
• Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at multiple levels within customer organizations.
• Support customer satisfaction through responsive communication and proactive account management.
• Coordinate customer visits, reviews, and routine business discussions.
• Act as a commercial escalation point for assigned accounts.
Business Development & Growth
• Develop and execute account plans aligned with business objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Monitor customer programs, market trends, and competitive activity.
• Support development of growth strategies for existing and prospective customers.
• Provide Voice of Customer feedback to internal stakeholders.
Proposal & Commercial Management
• Coordinate customer RFIs, RFQs, and proposal activities.
• Consolidate inputs from Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Program Management.
• Support development of pricing strategies and commercial proposals.
• Ensure timely and accurate customer responses.
• Maintain opportunity pipeline and forecasting information.
Contract Management
• Support review, negotiation, implementation, and administration of customer contracts, amendments, and long-term agreements.
• Maintain understanding of customer contractual commitments and commercial obligations.
• Coordinate with Legal, Program Management, and functional teams regarding contractual matters.
• Support contract change management activities and customer negotiations.
• Help ensure alignment between contractual commitments and business objectives.
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Partner with Program Management, Customer Support, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to support customer requirements.
• Ensure customer expectations are communicated and understood internally.
• Support resolution of customer issues and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Promote alignment between customer commitments and operational capabilities.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
• Five or more years of experience in account management, business development, sales, customer support, or related aerospace/manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting OEM or aerospace customers preferred.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial and business acumen.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Preferred Qualifications
• Aerospace industry experience.
• Experience with customer contracts and long-term agreements.
