Key Responsibilities
ISI Markets is looking for an experienced Sell-Side Account Manager to manage, retain and grow a portfolio of institutional clients across the global financial markets.
This is a commercially focused role with significant opportunity to expand existing relationships and drive adoption of ISI's market-leading fund flow intelligence, macroeconomic data, research and analytics.
What you'll do
- Own a portfolio of sell-side client relationships, acting as the primary commercial contact.
- Build trusted relationships across research, strategy, economics, sales & trading, capital markets, quantitative research and data teams.
- Drive renewals, retention, upsell and cross-sell, identifying whitespace across clients, geographies and use cases.
- Leverage ISI's established sell-side relationships to uncover new revenue opportunities and expand adoption across the wider organisation.
- Partner with Product Sales Specialists and internal teams to develop account strategies and deliver growth.
- Act as a strategic advisor, helping clients identify new applications for ISI's data across research, market intelligence, client engagement and capital markets workflows.
- Proactively manage renewal risk, commercial negotiations and account forecasting.
- Represent the voice of the client internally, sharing market feedback and opportunities with Product and GTM teams.
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in sell-side account management, client success or relationship management, ideally within financial data, SaaS, research or B2B information services.
- Strong understanding of how investment banks, broker-dealers or research providers use data and analytics.
- Demonstrated success growing relationships and identifying cross-sell and expansion opportunities within complex financial institutions.
- Credibility engaging with senior stakeholders including analysts, strategists, economists, quants and sales leaders.
- Strong commercial mindset with a track record of delivering retention and revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Genuine interest in financial markets, investor behaviour, fund flows, capital allocation and macroeconomic trends.
- Experience with Salesforce and other CRM/reporting tools.
- Understanding of APIs, data feeds and cloud delivery models is advantageous.
- Additional languages are desirable.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in economics, finance, business, mathematics or a related discipline preferred.
