Full Job Description
THE ROLE

We are looking for a high-performing Account Executive to drive new business across North America. In this individual contributor role you will own the full sales cycle, targeting mid-market to large enterprise companies in manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain. The role rewards a consultative, strategic seller who is comfortable teaching a buyer something they did not know and controlling a complex, multi-stakeholder evaluation. This is not a transactional product. Our buyers require education, business case development, and clear platform differentiation. We win by leading with insight.

DEAL PROFILE
  • Buying committee spans operations, IT, and finance, up to C-level
  • Competitive set is legacy and disconnected ERP, most often displaced by showing a unified operations and
  • CRM platform

TERRITORY AND SUPPORT
  • A named territory of high-priority, best-fit accounts, typically $50M to $500M in revenue
  • A dedicated New Logo Hunting SDR partnered to your territory to accelerate outbound pipeline generation.
  • While the SDR supports you, you are expected to independently source pipeline and proactively hunt new
  • logo opportunities.
  • A Solutions Consultant to partner on discovery, solutioning, and demo
  • Marketing, ABM, and partner-led programs feeding your territory, plus the Salesforce ecosystem as a co-sell

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through close
  • Drive net new customer acquisition across your named territory
  • Sell Rootstock ERP to Director, VP, and C-level stakeholders
  • Deliver tailored product demos, proposals, and business cases aligned to client needs
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes in complex enterprise environments
  • Build and execute a territory plan that generates meaningful self-sourced pipeline. Own pipeline creation
  • alongside your dedicated SDR through strategic outbound prospecting, account-based hunting, networking,
  • partner engagement, and executive outreach.
  • Partner with your SDR and Solutions Consultant to create and advance opportunities
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, implementation teams, and Salesforce ecosystem partners
  • Forecast accurately and manage your number with discipline

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • 5 to 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience, ideally B2B SaaS
  • Proven success in complex B2B sales with deal values in the $50K to $500K+ range
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations
  • Strong business acumen, with experience engaging IT, operations, and finance
  • Ability to build executive relationships and close multi-stakeholder deals
  • A self-motivated, results-driven professional with a consistent record of exceeding quota
  • A true hunter who self-sources pipeline and does not wait for leads to be handed over
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with Salesforce-native or integrated ERP environments is a plus
  • Existing relationships with Salesforce account teams or ecosystem partners are a strong advantage
