Account Executive - Midmarket VAST

What You Can Expect

As an Account Executive on our Midmarket VAST team, you will own a defined geographic territory across the West and grow Zoom’s presence across new and existing accounts. You will engage VP and C-suite decision-makers, connect them to Zoom Workplace solutions that address their real communication challenges, and close complex deals that matter. This is a consultative, high-activity role where curiosity, relationship-building, and a genuine focus on customer outcomes are what set top performers apart. You will sharpen your sales craft in a collaborative environment where your contributions directly shape team and customer success. This is a hybrid position that requires on-site presence 2 days per week at our Denver, CO or San Jose, CA office.

Responsibilities

• Drive expansion within existing Midmarket accounts by maximizing the value customers receive from Zoom Workplace and identifying new growth opportunities.
• Prospect and build a high-volume pipeline of net-new Midmarket opportunities within an assigned geographic territory.
• Qualify inbound leads and source net-new opportunities using value-added selling techniques to grow and accelerate revenue.
• Develop and deliver compelling demos, presentations, proposals, and Quarterly Business Reviews tailored to each customer’s specific needs.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level and VP-level executives, positioning Zoom as a long-term strategic partner.
• Identify prospect needs, qualify opportunities, and engage technical resources at the right moment to advance deals.
• Manage quotes and proposals with accuracy and care throughout every stage of the sales cycle.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of Account Executive experience selling SaaS, UCaaS, or cloud-based solutions, or equivalent experience in a related field
• Proficiency with CRM tools for pipeline management, activity tracking, and accurate forecasting
• Ability to communicate complex technical solutions clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Consultative, customer-first approach to every stage of the sales cycle
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
