Fragrance & Beauty Account Executive, Houston

About therole:

TheAccount Executivewillsupport and develop Multi Brand Retail sales through education and motivation of store sales staff. The Account Executiveis responsible forexecuting ofCHANELbusinessobjectives, promotional programming, upholding brand image, and talent development at the store level.

The ideal candidate has a passion for Fragrance and Beauty. Has worked within a Multi Brand Retail and/or Retail environment and has experience managing a significant sales volume. Must havestrong communication, coaching, and execution skills.

What impact you can create atCHANEL:

Business Execution

  • Responsible for executing the business strategies to achieve the Companies business objectives

  • Regularlymonitorretail sales and hold Counter team accountable to meeting established retails sales objectives

  • Establish a cadence of in store time with both Counter teams and Store leadership to ensure alignment toCHANELbusinessobjectives,sales plans, product launches, andspecial events

  • Partner closely with Counter Manager to develop a client strategy. Focus onattainingnew clients and developing a loyal client base

  • Foster strong relationships with Retail leadershipin order toensureCHANELis positioned well within each respective beauty department from a space and location and talent perspective

  • Maintain a pulse on market dynamics and trendsin order tocapitalize on opportunities and ensure achievement of Company objectives

  • Plan, communicate, and execute all in-store events in partnership withMarketDirector, Education, and other relevantcorporatepartners.

  • Responsible for managing a budget and adhering to respective Company policies and procedures (i.e.,RSS, T&E, Counter Supplies,etc)

Talent Development

  • Recruit, and develop Counter teams, with a strong focus on succession planning

  • In partnership with the Education Executive provide orientation training/onboarding for all new hires using company approved platforms and materials

  • Leverage fluency in product, service and artistry skills to coach and support Counter Managers and BAs

  • Model behavior withside-by-sidecoaching on service ritual, applicationtechniquesand allfacetsof the clientele system, specific to each retailer

  • Partner with Education Executive toidentifylearning opportunities and execute focused development plans

Brand Image & Experience

  • Ensure that Brand Image is being upheld within respective territory byleveragingany and allavailable tools and proactively providing feedback/training to your Counter teams

  • Responsible for ensuring all merchandising guidelines and visual merchandising elements are properly executed at all stores

  • Communicatetimelyand effectively any counter issues or concerns to Corporate to address any deficiencies

  • Keep image as top priority and adhering to all visual standards

  • Ability to lift at minimum 40 pounds

Compensation:

  • Theanticipatedbase salary range for this position is $92,400 through $118,000. Base salary is onecomponentof the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay will be offered for this position. Other components will include bonus potential, benefits, and/orperks.
