Synopsis of the Role
This Account Executive position is responsible for the direct sale of Equifax Breach Services products and solutions across Canada. The role focuses on driving revenue by managing and expanding strategic referral partner networks across cyber law firms, insurance carriers, and incident response partners, as well as converting corporate opportunities. We are seeking a motivated sales professional with a strong desire to continuously learn, adapt, and build deep expertise within the rapidly evolving cybersecurity and breach response industry. Due to the high-urgency, time-sensitive nature of cyber breach mitigation, this position requires flexibility to work varying or non-standard hours depending on business needs, emergent incident response activities, and client requests.
What you will do
Generate revenue to meet and exceed sales quotas through strategic client acquisition and partner expansion across Canada.
Develop, scale, and manage high-value strategic referral channels, focusing on cyber law firms ("breach coaches"), cyber insurance carriers/brokers, and forensic incident response partners.
Proactively immerse yourself in industry trends, emerging privacy legislation, and technical breach mitigation practices to serve as a knowledgeable resource for clients and partners.
Drive sales for the complete suite of Equifax Breach Services, including credit and identity monitoring (Equifax Complete™ Premier), 24/7 Level 1 FAQ call center support, digital and physical notification services, and impact verification lookup tools.
Build customized proposals and pricing models (fixed, redemption, and hybrid) tailored to corporate breach incidents and client specifications.
Coordinate internal cross-functional support with Finance, Legal, Operations, and Product teams to orchestrate contract execution (Incident Response Services Agreements), deal redlines, and rapid deployment operations.
Maintain pipeline hygiene, record account activities, and track opportunity updates in Salesforce.
Maintain flexibility to adapt working schedule and hours as required to support urgent breach events, client requests, and time-sensitive business needs.
Role requires 10- 15% regional travel
What experience you need
Bachelor's degree and/or solid, demonstrated track record in B2B sales experience, including:
Qualifying complex leads and driving opportunity conversion
Being held accountable to and consistently delivering revenue goals and pipeline development
Demonstrating a strong passion and drive to learn the cybersecurity and breach response industry landscape
Demonstrating objection handling in high-urgency, consultative sales environments
Strong business acumen, financial literacy, and contract negotiation capabilities
Managing end-to-end sales cycles, pipeline forecasting, and CRM management (Salesforce)
Developing tailored executive presentations and pitching capabilities to decision-makers, legal counsel, and corporate leadership
Proven ability and willingness to work flexible schedules outside of core business hours to accommodate urgent client needs and active incident responses.
