Position Summary
The Account Executive is responsible for generating new business, managing the full sales cycle, and closing revenue opportunities across Lumibuild's workplace technology and services portfolio. This relationship-first, team-oriented role focuses on delivering thoughtful, well-designed solutions in partnership with Engineering, Project Management, and Procurement to ensure every project reflects Lumibuild's standards for execution and client experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Business Development & Pipeline Management
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across corporate, higher-ed, hospitality, and experiential markets.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach and discovery to proposal coordination, negotiation, and closing.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and consistent activity tracking within CRM and quoting workflows.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue and margin targets to drive company growth.
Solution Development & Internal Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Operations to create accurate, competitive, and profitable project proposals.
- Develop clear, client-focused scopes of work (SOW) that enable technical teams to produce high-fidelity designs and estimates.
- Partner with Procurement and Service teams to ensure solution feasibility and long-term supportability.
- Stay current on AV technologies, hybrid collaboration trends, and AI-driven workplace solutions to provide consultative value.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Own assigned client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the account lifecycle.
- Present complex technical solutions and value propositions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Represent Lumibuild at industry events, networking groups, manufacturer partner meetings, and client functions.
- Stay engaged through project delivery, supporting PMs with client communication and issuing change orders as required.
Operational Standards & Execution
- Ensure smooth handoffs to Engineering and Operations teams for well-executed project kick-offs.
- Conduct site walks and attend onsite client meetings to ensure environmental requirements are captured accurately.
- Maintain professional standards for documentation, ensuring all contracts and agreements meet profitability and risk-mitigation goals.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in AV integration, technology sales, or a related design-build environment.
- Proven track record of selling boardrooms, hybrid collaboration spaces, or enterprise AV systems.
- Strong organizational skills and disciplined experience with CRM workflows.
- Ability to understand technical solutions and communicate their business value to clients and consultants.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, collaborative team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Existing network within the corporate real estate, higher-ed, or design communities.
- Familiarity with AI-driven workplace tools and advanced hybrid meeting platforms.
- Experience navigating complex procurement processes in enterprise environments.
- Previous experience in a technical role (Engineering or Field Tech) transitioning into sales.
