THE WORK:- You'll provide electrical engineering guidance, evaluations, and recommendations to Project Managers and the Sustainability Strike Team across districtwide sustainability and energy initiatives.
- You'll assess existing electrical infrastructure, equipment, and associated building systems to identify current conditions, system performance, capacity, deficiencies, and upgrade opportunities, and document your findings and recommendations in existing-conditions reports.
- You'll perform and review load studies, capacity evaluations, feasibility studies, and other technical analyses supporting project scoping, design, and implementation.
- You'll evaluate whether proposed upgrades are compatible with existing electrical and building systems, coordinating with District personnel, Campus Administration, College Project Teams, the Program Management Office, consultants, utilities, and other engineering disciplines to identify integration needs and constraints.
- You'll develop and validate technical Scopes of Work, requirements, specifications, deliverables, procurement documents, and evaluation criteria for design and construction services, including support for project establishment and White Paper development under applicable BuildLACCD PMO Standard Operating Procedures.
- You'll serve as an electrical engineering subject-matter expert for PV, BESS, microgrids, EV charging, building electrification, central plant decarbonization, lighting, smart controls, and associated electrical infrastructure.
- You'll review engineering studies, designs, technical specifications, submittals, RFIs, requests for clarification, and change-order proposals, providing recommendations that help Project Managers and other decision-makers resolve engineering, constructability, and systems-integration issues.
- You'll support field visits, design and construction meetings, commissioning, and closeout activities, applying relevant California energy and electrical codes, Title 24, applicable ASHRAE guidance, District standards, and sustainability principles to technical reviews and recommendations.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU- The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.
- You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
- AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.
- Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
- Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
- Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.
