Job Description

The University of Missouri's Department of Radiology is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Breast Radiologist to join our expanding team in the Breast Imaging Division. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic physician to participate in a growing clinical program within an academic health system that prioritizes excellence in patient care, teaching, and research.
Outstanding candidates with demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and administrative experience may be considered for the Division Director of Breast Imaging role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical breast imaging services, including digital mammography (2D/3D), breast ultrasound, MRI, and image-guided procedures (biopsies, localizations).
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team within the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, Missouri's only NCI-designated partner institution.
  • Participate in education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Engage in scholarly activities and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support growth and development of the Breast Imaging Division, including clinical operations, program development, and faculty mentorship.
  • If appointed as Division Director:
    • Provide vision and leadership to the Breast Imaging Division.
    • Oversee clinical service quality, staffing, and scheduling.
    • Collaborate with departmental and institutional leadership to advance academic, clinical, and strategic goals.
