In this context we are looking for A220 Program Managerto join our team in Herndon, VA.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM:

Strategic Project Leadership (40%)
  • Lead cross-functional projects to mature and improve the A220 Spares business, support, and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Identify process gaps, initiate value stream mapping (VSM) workshops, and drive initiatives to prepare the business for future fleet development.
  • Establish relevant business cases and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with the whole organization.
  • Ability to manage all initiatives and projects in designated Airbus Project Management frameworks and tools


Commercial Management & Business Analysis (30%)
  • Hold net margin accountability for A220 products, including negotiating new pricing policies and forecasting budget needs with Airbus Canada and Satair.
  • Perform strategic analysis of the business to identify and act on levers that substantiate and increase the financial plan and maximize profitability.
  • Develop, analyze, and present data-driven solutions and reports on sales results, market share, pricing efficiency, forecasting, and inventory.
  • Establish commercial offers, determine pricing conditions, and provide direct support for aircraft sales campaigns as needed.


Customer & Stakeholder Relations (25%)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all levels of customer organizations to ensure their needs are understood and met.
  • Work closely with Sales and Support Directors to build customer confidence in Airbus's commitment to the A220 program.
  • Provide clear visibility to internal and external stakeholders on project roadmaps, progress, and expected improvements.


Other duties as assigned (5%)
  • Ad-hoc support of the Program Team


ABOUT YOU:

Equipped with a degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or Aerospace (OR an equivalent combination of education and experience) and paired with professional experience ideally as a Program Manager, we are looking for a team player with the following experience, skills and mindset:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, or product management in sales/customer service (preferably in the aviation industry)
  • Strong understanding of the commercial aviation aftermarket supply chain.
  • Proven versatility to operate as both a strategic Program Manager and a hands-on Project Manager capable of handling a wide variety of assignments.
  • Demonstrable success in projecting and negotiating financial targets (AOP).
  • Advanced analytical skills with an ability to see the "big picture" and perform detailed data analytics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Slides.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex logistics issues to non-logistics stakeholders. communication and stakeholder management skills

Pay range based on the required profile: $115,000 - $130,000 annually. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on geographic differential. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
