THE PRACTICE:This role will align to the US A&D practice. Our A&D practice helps Aerospace & Defense companies address key business challenges and leverage Accenture's reinvention and transformation capabilities across Consulting and Operations to deliver business outcomes.
THE WORK:- You will support our clients across the US A&D practice to address their issues related to:
- Operating Model Strategy for Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing functions in support of Aerospace & Defense product development
- Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing Network Strategy and Design to optimize how things are designed, where they are sourced, where they are made, and where they are going.
- Supply Chain, Engineering, and Digital Factory Strategy - Product Lifecycle Management, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Manufacturing Operations Management, Industry 4.0, IoT platform, artificial intelligence, machine learning, prescriptive maintenance, connected devices, connected workers, blockchain, etc.
You will spot, isolate, and solve supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing problems using your skills in:
- Engineering design, product development processes, and Product Lifecyle Management
- Operating model architecture - people, process, technology
- Manufacturing Process Excellence - Planning/Scheduling, Routing Optimization, Manufacturing Execution projects
- Supply Chain - supplier management, supplier performance management, supply chain quality.
- Analytics - ability to apply AI/analytics to improve A&D product development processes in engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing.
You will also, throughout your work, have opportunities to:
- Lead teams (5-100), with diverse backgrounds skills and knowledge
- Effectively manage and coach others, collaborating with internal and external parties
- Support client sales origination and thought leadership development.
- Challenge legacy ways of working using constructive techniques that fuel client growth.
- Drive a positive impact in the communities where we work and live.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:- Minimum of 8 years' experience working on Aerospace & Defense supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing improvement initiatives
- Minimum of 8 years' experience related to new technology (Digital Thread / Twin, PLM, Robotic Process Automation, IoT, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, etc.)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an external consulting role
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:- Tier 1 strategy consulting firm experience
- Aerospace & Defense work experience (minimum 10 years of experience)
- Experience with PLM, MES/MOM systems and IoT platforms
- Ability to support both client sales origination and project delivery.
- Ability to effectively manage and coach others.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Excellent leadership, management, and relationship building skills.
- A collaborative mindset, are a team player.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have a minimum of 6 years' work experience)
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
