3DX Product Manager

We are looking for a 3DX Product Manager who will be responsible for developing and managing software products, web applications, mobile apps, online platforms, and connected devices throughout their lifecycle22from planning and definition through production, release, and end of life. They focus on product value, viability, design, usability, and feasibility, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to define the product vision and direction. Key Responsibilities 1. Migration Strategy and Co-existence Roadmap Define and execute the product roadmap for migrating legacy automotive BOM data and processes22such as Teamcenter, Windchill, SAP, or proprietary legacy databases22to 3DEXPERIENCE. Collaborate with enterprise architects to design and manage co-existence strategies, including dual-running legacy and 3DX systems, to avoid disruption to ongoing vehicle programs. Establish criteria for decommissioning legacy BOM applications as capabilities are transitioned to 3DX. 2. Automotive BOM Solutioning and Configuration Management Own the product vision for authoring, managing, and validating vehicle structures, options, variants, and marketing rules within 3DX. Design and implement processes to manage the 150% Over-Complete BOM and generate accurate 100% Configured BOMs for downstream procurement and manufacturing. Define integration points and data-flow standards across CAD (3D design), EBOM (Engineering BOM), MBOM (Manufacturing BOM), and downstream ERP systems such as SAP. Standardize Engineering Change Management (ECR/ECO) and effectivity processes22including date-, unit-, serial-, and milestone-based effectivity22within the 3DX environment. 3. Data Migration and Quality Governance Partner with Data Migration and IT teams to define data mapping, transformation rules, and data-cleansing strategies for moving from legacy schemas to the 3DX unified data model. Establish data quality metrics and validation frameworks to ensure migrated BOM structures are complete, accurate, and functional in the new platform. 4. Agile Product Delivery and Stakeholder Management Manage, prioritize, and refine the product backlog22including Epics and User Stories22in Jira, balancing technical migration debt with new feature enablement. Serve as the primary liaison among global vehicle program teams, engineering attributes leads, purchasing, manufacturing, and the PLM implementation team. Advocate for out-of-the-box (OOTB) 3DEXPERIENCE capabilities to minimize customization and support long-term platform maintainability and upgrade paths. 5. Business Readiness and Change Management Lead the cultural and process shift from legacy BOM-authoring practices to a modern, data-driven 3DX approach. Partner with Change Management teams to develop training plans, user guides, and hyper-care support models for phased rollouts. Job Requirements Details: Experience Required 4+ years as a Product/Delivery Manager REST APIs, Java 1. Architectural Leadership and Strategy Define the end-to-end PLM architecture on the Dassault Systmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform, whether cloud or on-premise. Lead BOM transformation strategy, ensuring seamless synchronization among Engineering BOM (EBOM), Manufacturing BOM (MBOM), and Service BOM (SBOM). Architect solutions for product configuration and variant management to support complex automotive option logic and 150% BOM structures. 2. Technical Design and Implementation Design data models, schema changes, and interface specifications within ENOVIA. Oversee integration of 3DX with downstream systems such as ERP (SAP/Oracle) and legacy CAD environments (CATIA V5/V6). Lead technical deep dives into 3DX modules, including Product Configurator and Change Manager. Develop migration strategies for transitioning legacy BOM data into the 3DX environment. 3. Domain Excellence: Automotive BOM Standardize Change Management processes (ECR/ECN) within the platform to ensure traceability across global engineering teams. 4. Stakeholder Collaboration Work with Engineering Leads and Manufacturing Engineers to translate business requirements into scalable technical requirements. Provide technical governance and mentorship to developers and system integrators.
