The AI Engineer 2 serves as a senior technical contributor responsible for leading AI/ML architecture design, governance, and implementation efforts supporting enterprise-scale AI capabilities. This role provides advanced expertise in agentic systems, model governance, and AI platform modernization initiatives.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:- Lead development of enterprise AI/ML architectures and governance frameworks.
- Design and implement multi-agent orchestration platforms and autonomous reasoning systems.
- Architect enterprise AI pipelines, vector database solutions, and hybrid knowledge management capabilities.
- Develop AI validation, explainability, model monitoring, and governance tools.
- Establish AI architecture standards, technical roadmaps, and integration patterns.
- Support architecture review boards and technology assessments.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend enterprise adoption strategies.
- Mentor junior AI engineers and technical team members.
What You'll Need:
- Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field, Master preferred
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML engineering, or solution architecture.
- Experience designing and deploying enterprise AI solutions.
- Experience with cloud-native AI services and MLOps platforms.
- Demonstrated experience with LLMs, agent frameworks, and vector databases.
- Must be DOW 8140 certified
- Ability to obtain and maintain required Top Secret government security clearance.

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community agencies.
- Experience with knowledge graphs and advanced AI governance frameworks.
- Relevant cloud or AI certifications.
Salary Range: $120k - $135k
