Finance Foundation Program

Job Description

The Finance Foundation Program (FFP) is a leadership development program that provides exposure to different areas of Caterpillar Financials' core business the Financial Products Division (FPD). Participants receive a high degree of management focus and deliberate assignment placement during their four years in the program. This program is ideal for those building foundational skills in this field, generally within the first 0-2 years of their career.

Program participants will partake in four, 1-year intentional placements, including assignments in customer-facing, origination, credit, and specialty roles. These assignments include but are not limited to: Credit, Customer Accounts/Relations, Insurance, Lease Services, Sales Support, and Treasury. The objective of this program is to provide broad business experience, so participants can take on future leadership, senior, or field sales roles with the company.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale at the time of application. Must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA through graduation
• Degree must be completed by hire date
• Domestic Mobility
• Authorized to work in U.S.

Desired Qualifications:
• Ability to work independently, as well as with other employees and customers
• Knowledge of and ability to apply statistical analysis skills to measure, analyze and improve service
• Ability to utilize office software systems and prepare documents, reports, spreadsheets and graphics
• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
• Bi-lingual skills a plus

• Relocation is available to those that qualify.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary for this role ranges from $79,800.00 - $131,280.00. Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar. Total rewards package, beyond base salary included:
  • Annual Incentive bonus plan
