Title and Summary

Analyst, Sales

Overview:
The Analyst, Sales position is part of the Americas Strategy and Operations team and partners with specific Customer Account Management (CAM) teams. The open role will support Mastercard financial institution partnerships (FIP) teams in Canada.
The Analyst will: (1) Collaborate with CAM leaders and team members to support and execute financial, operational, and business objectives in alignment with country plans. (2) Provide analytics and research to drive conversation around issuer KPIs in quarterly business reviews (QBRs), as well as actionable takeaways from QBRs. (3) Refine business processes, including reporting and business reviews. (4) Drive strategic priorities and manage the implementation of strategies for the segment. (5) Facilitate the setting and sharing of best practices and promote standard methodologies across the FIP team and the overall Strategy and Operations team.

Role
Enable business growth:
• Support Canada FIP account teams on key objectives, analytics, reporting, and strategy.
• Interact regularly with the account teams to understand their specific needs and help support the business.
• Create dashboards with Power BI and Excel to monitor customer activity, report on payment flows, and track internal initiatives.
• Navigate the internal data warehouse with proprietary tools.
• Drive consistency across the account team through pipeline management, account optimization, and more.
• Contribute to overall strategic projects for Canada, such as quantifying internal progress, evaluating competitor operations, desktop research, and more.

• Strong communication skills; able to balance command of the details with the ability to deliver clear, concise summaries
• Strong technical skills: knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn, Excel-based models, querying, and aggregation.

• Experience with developing business cases & strategic analysis.
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships with account team across multiple functions; role has high exposure to a wide range of senior partners. Must be a strong team player.
• Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering multiple projects within a team environment.
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Preferred majors include Finance, Economics, or Engineering, but open to other areas.

Pay Ranges
Toronto, Canada: $68,000 - $109,000 CAD

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in Canada, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive pay based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
