Position Overview:

The Merchandise Planner is responsible for spotting sales trends and providing the strategy and direction needed to achieve fiscal targets through multi-level action plans. This role develops financial sales strategies, gross margin plans, and sales forecasts across multiple departments. The Merchandise Planner manages merchandise sales planning, including promotional and markdown strategies, to drive sales, optimize inventory, maximize profit, and achieve sell-through goals. They also deliver in-season financial projections and identify risks and opportunities to help maximize profits throughout the season.

  • Lead the planning and curation of strategic product assortments (item, color, size) for each category, informed by market analysis, customer insights, and seasonal concepts.
  • Serve as a key liaison with global headquarters, presenting data-driven product proposals and advocating for assortments that align with market needs and business goals.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and product availability to capitalize on sales opportunities and achieve sell-through objectives.
  • Place and manage orders for both seasonal launches and ongoing replenishment, maintaining agility to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Store Operations, and other departments to develop and execute initiatives that deliver on sales plans, business targets, and customer experience priorities

What You Bring:
