We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Architect / CMDB Lead to drive CMDB strategy, architecture, governance, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will lead enterprise CMDB implementations, data model design, discovery and service mapping initiatives, and work closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure CMDB accuracy and maturity.
Key Responsibilities
CMDB Architecture & Design
• Lead CMDB design, migration, and enterprise data model architecture.
• Define Configuration Item (CI) classes, relationships, and governance standards.
• Develop scalable CMDB solutions aligned with ITIL and ServiceNow best practices.
Discovery, Integrations & Service Mapping
• Implement and optimize ServiceNow Discovery.
• Design and maintain Service Mapping for critical business services.
• Integrate CMDB with infrastructure, cloud, monitoring, and third-party platforms.
• Ensure accurate CI population and relationship mapping across enterprise environments.
CMDB Governance & Data Quality
• Establish and enforce CMDB governance processes and policies.
• Drive data quality initiatives, audits, reconciliation, and remediation activities.
• Develop automation strategies to improve CMDB accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Define KPIs and dashboards to monitor CMDB health and compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement & UAT Coordination
• Engage with business, infrastructure, application, and service management teams to gather requirements and define solutions.
• Lead workshops and stakeholder discussions on CMDB strategy and roadmap.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and ensure successful deployment validation.
• Provide regular status updates and executive-level reporting.

Salary Range- $120,000-$140,000 a year
