Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?RBC's Attack Resilience Management team is responsible for continuously testing and measuring RBC's security posture and resilience to attack by running automated attack simulation scenarios. We are a team of experienced and enthusiastic security experts responsible for identifying gaps in security coverage and generating tangible and actionable metrics for security technology owners to improve RBC's overall security posture.
We're looking for a Senior Manager, Attack Resilience Management that thinks outside the box, is passionate about offensive and defensive cybersecurity and has both offensive and defensive operations experience
What will you do?- Maintaining the existing library of attack simulation scenarios
- Collaborating with Adversary Emulation (Red Team), Cyber Intelligence, and Security Operations Centre on developing custom attack simulation scenarios
- Leverage AI to continuously assess and simulate emerging AI driven threats.
- Collaborating with security technology owners on ensuring integrations with their respective security tools are in working order and each technology is actively being tested
- Automating maintenance and operations of team infrastructure
- Executing and scheduling attack simulation scenarios
What do you need to succeed?Must-have- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a deep understanding of end-to-end security operations
- Knowledge of offensive security tools, techniques, and procedures
- Experience with core security technologies (e.g. SIEMs, web application firewalls, network and host intrusion prevention and detection systems, proxies, vulnerability scanners, and EDR solutions)
- Knowledge of Kill Chain phases and MITRE ATT&CK framework TTPs
- Knowledge of Programming and Scripting Languages, such as Python
Nice-to-have- Experience with automated adversary emulation/Breach Attack Simulation tools
- Experience assessing Threat Intelligence reports and identifying low level procedures used by threat actors
- Experience working on Offense oriented teams (Penetration testing/Red Teaming)
- Experience with system administration of Windows or Linux Servers
