We're a multi-functional group, with world-class expertise in building fandoms, driving interactive storytelling, and positioning our franchises at the center of the broader entertainment ecosystem.

We are looking for a Director of Media Operations + Partnerships to join the Growth Marketing Organization. You will report into the Sr. Director Growth Operations, and be directly responsible for owning and improving the processes, tools, and both internal and external partnerships for our Franchise Media team. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days a week in office at one of the posted locations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop centralized Operations team to support large Media Strategy organization in rhythm of business efforts such as communications, centralized and standardized campaign tracking, and multi-level reporting of business-centric performance metrics.
  • Oversee media budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting, including connection to business planning operations.
  • Manage partnerships across marketing organization, including external agency support, internal cross-functional teams of Brand and Creative organizations, technology providers, and platform ecosystem.
  • Own operational tools and efficiency improvements across the media organization. Develop roadmaps and strategic approaches to improving tools, processes, communications, and operational systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts with partners internally and externally to aid Media Strategy + Buying teams day-to-day task management.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for process improvement, automation, centralization, and standardization within media operations.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in full-funnel media strategy and buying within an enterprise environment, with experience working with attribution models and media mixed modeling.
  • At least 5 years of direct people management experience, including oversight of media strategists and buyers. Track record of defining team goals, building and motivating teams, and fostering a culture of collaboration.
  • 8+ years of experience building operational models for media organizations, identifying and addressing functional gaps, and collaborating with creative teams to define advertising content needs.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale organizational change and setting new standards, tools, and processes for media operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in partnership building. Influencing, negotiate, and build partnerships with internal teams, agency partners, and external vendors.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in media budget ownership, forecasting, and reporting with budget holders across multiple business units.
  • Advanced project management and tracking skills, with the ability to operate and improve business rhythm across multiple teams and partners.
  • BA/BS Degree in marketing/finance or equivalent quantitative field
  • Passion/knowledge for video games

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$160,700 - $224,700 CAD

* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$182,600 - $276,300 USD

* Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane) *$175,600 - $233,600 USD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
