What you'll be doing

The Data, Insights & Analytics (DI&A) Project Management Office (PMO) helps drive disciplined, effective delivery across a complex portfolio of technology and business initiatives. As a Senior Analyst, Technology Support, you'll play an important role in enabling successful project execution by providing operational, technical, and governance support across the DI&A portfolio. You'll act as a key connection point between business partners, project and program teams, technology teams, and support functions to help maintain stable tools, strong delivery controls, and consistent reporting. In this role, you'll support portfolio processes, coordinate issue tracking and resolution activities, administer tools, and contribute to continuous improvement across PMO operations. You'll bring structure to day-to-day delivery activities and help teams stay informed, organized, and aligned on priorities. Your work will support better decision-making, stronger governance, and a more efficient project delivery environment.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you'll succeed
  • Portfolio support and coordination - Support DI&A project and program delivery by coordinating portfolio activities, maintaining delivery artifacts, and helping teams follow established PMO processes and governance requirements.
  • Reporting and insights - Prepare and maintain recurring portfolio, project, and governance reporting that gives stakeholders clear visibility into progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery health.
  • Tool administration - Administer and support project delivery tools, ensuring information is accurate, current, and accessible while helping users resolve issues and use tools effectively.
  • Issue and risk management - Track risks, issues, action items, and dependencies across initiatives, escalating concerns where needed and helping drive timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Stakeholder collaboration - Partner with business stakeholders, project and program managers, technology teams, and support partners to coordinate activities, improve communication, and support successful delivery outcomes.
  • Continuous improvement - Identify opportunities to improve PMO operations, reporting processes, governance practices, and tool usage to enhance efficiency, consistency, and delivery effectiveness.

Who you are

  • You're organized and detail-focused. You manage multiple priorities with accuracy and consistency, and you know how to keep processes, documentation, and reporting on track in a fast-paced environment.
  • You're a collaborative partner. You build strong working relationships across business and technology teams and communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • You know project delivery tools and processes. You have experience with project tracking, reporting, governance documentation, and tool administration in a technology or project delivery setting. Knowledge of portfolio management and PMO practices would be an asset.
  • Values matter to you. You bring your real self to work, and you live our values - trust, teamwork, and accountability.
