Solutions Engineer specializing in IT Security and Compliance to join our teami. Acting as the technical backbone of our sales process, you will serve as the trusted advisor for our security portfolio-delivering high-impact product demonstrations, designing layered security architectures, and guiding customers through pre-sale strategies and post-sale implementations.
Key Responsibilities:- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the technical expert across Kaseya's security landscape, including Email Security, Microsoft 365 Defense, SIEM/MDR, and User-Based Security (Security Awareness Training & Identity Protection).
- Technical Discovery & Demonstrations: Conduct deep-dive technical discoveries and deliver customized, scenario-based product demonstrations aligned with client threat profiles.
- Architecture & Solution Design: Partner with Account Executives to design robust, multi-layered security and compliance frameworks tailored to client environments.
- Compliance Advisory: Help clients align their security posture with major regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST, CMMC) using Kaseya's compliance and auditing tools.
- Implementation & Best Practices: Provide post-sale technical consulting, assisting with deployment strategies, threat detection configurations, and ongoing security optimization.
- Feedback Loop: Collaborate with Product Management to advocate for feature enhancements based on real-world threat intelligence and customer feedback.
Requirements:- Technical Experience: 3+ years of pre-sales or technical solution architecture experience in cybersecurity, email security, or managed security solutions.
- Core Security Expertise: Hands-on knowledge of Email Security (phishing defense, DMARC/DKIM/SPF), Microsoft 365 security management, SIEM log analysis, and MDR workflows.
- User-Centric Defense: Solid understanding of user-based security, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Security Awareness Training strategies.
- Compliance & Governance: Strong working knowledge of security standards and frameworks, including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST (800-171/800-53), and CMMC.
- Infrastructure & Vulnerability Management: Deep familiarity with core IT infrastructure (Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, core networking) and vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., OpenVAS, Nessus).
- Channel & ITSM Knowledge: Familiarity with MSP service delivery models, Security Operations Center (SOC) workflows, and ITSM practices (ITSM/ITIL certification a plus).
- Communication & Sales Acumen: Proven ability to translate complex threat vectors and compliance requirements into clear business value for C-level executives, technical leads, and non-technical stakeholders alike.
