• Strong SQL and database development skills with technologies such as PostgreSQL or Oracle, including experience designing and optimizing solutions for high-volume transactional systems.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise application security, including OAuth, mutual TLS, authorization, payload encryption, secrets management, and secure coding practices.
• Experience diagnosing and improving application performance, scalability, reliability, and resiliency in production environments.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices including automated testing, CI/CD, Git-based development, code reviews, observability, and operational readiness.
• Ability to translate complex product and business requirements into secure, testable, maintainable, and supportable technical solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in an Agile engineering environment, contributing to continuous improvement and collaborative technical decision-making.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and make thoughtful technical decisions with minimal supervision.
• Passion for delivering high-quality software and continuously improving engineering practices, products, and customer experiences.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and influence decisions across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
