Qualifications

• Familiarity with mesh/overlay VPN and zero-trust security tools.
• Experience in IPAM and VLAN design for multiple locations.
• Proficient in Linux and Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform).
• Experience in network monitoring and incident response processes.
• Strong communication skills for leading postmortems and documentation.
• Collaboration and resourcefulness with cross-site responsibility.
• Interest in self-driving technology and infrastructure scaling.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, deployment, and lifecycle of Waabi's multi-site network.
• Lead ISP planning for sufficient and redundant bandwidth at all locations.
• Manage network incident response and root cause analysis to reduce downtime.
• Audit and enhance security configurations, ensuring network resilience across sites.
• Implement and enforce consistent network hardware standards organization-wide.
• Maintain IP addressing and segment network for various functions.
• Manage zero-trust remote access tools to secure network access.
• Support vehicle connectivity in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Work with engineering on developing robust developer interfaces.
• Scale network infrastructures for high-performance compute and storage solutions.
• Create and update documentation for network documentation, topology, and disaster recovery.
