Location : Dallas , Texas We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer to join our modernization and digital transformation initiatives within Client Workplace Solutions platform. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of customer-facing applications undergoing migration, modernization, and technology debt remediation. This position requires strong expertise in test automation, quality engineering practices, CI/CD integration, and end-to-end application testing.
Key Responsibilities - Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies for application migration, modernization, and technology remediation programs.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, system, and regression testing.
- Validate application functionality, performance, and business processes following WebSphere migrations and modernization efforts.
- Build and execute automated test suites using Selenium, Java, TestNG, REST API automation tools, and modern testing frameworks.
- Support test data management, environment validation, release certification, and deployment verification activities.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to implement Shift-Left testing methodologies and quality engineering best practices.
- Perform end-to-end, integration, system, regression, performance, and non-functional testing.
- Lead defect triage sessions, quality reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable continuous delivery.
- Define quality metrics, reporting standards, and testing governance across modernization programs.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise quality standards and support release readiness assessments.
Required Skills - 6-9 years of experience in Software Testing, Test Automation, or Quality Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Selenium WebDriver
Java
TestNG/JUnit
REST API Testing (Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools)
Automation Framework Development - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Knowledge of test data management and environment management processes.
- Experience in defect management, root cause analysis, and quality reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $ 70000 to $93767
