The Impact you will have in this role:

The Release Manager within the MRMO is responsible for planning, coordinating, governing, and facilitating technology releases across IT FinSight. This role ensures releases are delivered in a predictable, controlled, and low-risk manner by driving end-to-end release readiness, managing dependencies, coordinating stakeholders, and providing leadership visibility throughout the release lifecycle.

The Release Manager serves as the central point of coordination between Business, Product, Development, Infrastructure, Change Management, and Support teams to promote production stability and successful release execution.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage integrated release plans across multiple applications and delivery teams.
  • Coordinate release schedules, deployment activities, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate release readiness reviews and governance checkpoints.
  • Ensure release activities are aligned with enterprise standards and change management requirements.
  • Drive production readiness reviews and release governance processes.
  • Identify, track, and escalate release risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Ensure all required approvals, validations, and sign-offs are completed prior to implementation.
  • Support release-related metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as the primary liaison across Business, Product, Development, Infrastructure, EAS, SRE, UAT, and IVT teams.
  • Provide executive-level communications and status reporting to leadership.
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions to resolve release blockers and competing priorities.
  • Coordinate implementation activities, deployment plans, rollback strategies, and validation activities.
  • Ensure support teams are prepared for implementation and post-release activities.
  • Lead release execution governance and hypercare tracking.
  • Monitor release outcomes and drive lessons learned reviews.

  • Experience in Release Management, Program Management, Delivery Management, or IT Governance.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, Change Management, and Production Support.
  • Experience coordinating large-scale, cross-functional technology releases.
  • Strong communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, PPM, ALM, dashboards, and governance reporting.


The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
