You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow marketing professionals within our company, as well as external teaming partners. This role provides a platform for personal and professional growth, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on both your own career path and the development of your peers. Prior experience with the Architectural and Engineering (A/E) industry proposal process is preferred, but not required. This position is based in our Seattle office, and regular in-office presence is required to support collaboration with the local team. We offer a flexible hybrid work environment that supports collaboration, professional growth, and work-life balance while meeting project and team needs.

  • Take ownership of the proposal process and commit to ensuring proposals comply with the applicable RFP/RFQ submission instructions and requirements
  • Coordinate the receipt of necessary information from internal colleagues and external teaming partners to include in proposal and presentation materials
  • Review and draft content (writing, editing, proofreading) for qualifications, proposals, and presentations
  • Provide support with researching, monitoring, and tracking potential project opportunities and strategic pursuits, helping maintain visibility into upcoming RFPs, RFQs, and other procurement opportunities
  • Use our company's brand style guide and design resources to create attractive and effective graphics and documents for marketing pursuits that compete well with others
  • Update and maintain databases of project opportunities, project descriptions, resumes, references, and qualifications materials

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of proposal coordination experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years working with Washington State public sector clients, agencies, and procurement processes
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) strongly preferred, but not required
  • Enjoys the pace and challenge of managing multiple deadlines and concurrent pursuits, bringing organization, adaptability, and attention to detail to every assignment
  • Effective writing, editing, grammar, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Motivated to learn and develop skills in graphic design and writing
  • Willingness to learn and apply AI-assisted tools
