Job Description

We are a small, dedicated, strategy and execution team working to make Intuit the best-run global technology platform company in the world. The improvements we drive as a team touch every aspect of Intuit's structure, processes and business model and will fuel investment in Intuit's growth priorities. We provide the frameworks for defining Intuit's top priority goals, annual resource planning, analyzing and making recommendations on investments, and seeing our annual strategy through to execution. We enable automation of planning by defining business requirements for our tools & automation teams and we ensure mechanisms are in place to remain nimble and rigorous as we deliver innovation to our customers with speed.

As a Principal of Business Operations, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Drive strategy and lead the thinking for enterprise-level planning, portfolio management and portfolio analysis, building on original insights, external learning, and stakeholder perspectives
  • Build boundaryless partnerships across all levels and functions at Intuit to jointly problem solve and develop solutions to complex business problems
  • Learn from, and apply, internal and external best practices
  • Drive change management and work with business leaders to implement custom solutions that scale across the entire company

This role will allow you to forge relationships with senior leaders from every group in the company, is the perfect platform to learn about virtually every aspect of Intuit's businesses and a great foundation for a high-impact career.

Responsibilities
  • Quickly obtain an in-depth understanding of the end-to-end enterprise financial, planning and execution landscape at Intuit to act as the foundation for defining enterprise-scale transformational change
  • Assess planning and execution effectiveness, visibility to progress, and our ability to communicate executive level status and insights for both enterprise planning and execution
  • Define the principles and strategy for enterprise planning and portfolio management improvements, in partnership with cross-functional planning leaders, to drive company-level outcomes that enhance the entire planning experience and outcomes
  • Lead & participate in customer empathy exercises to inform recommendations; take in-person data collection through to insights and hypotheses
  • Through definition, experimentation and implementation of planning process improvements, based on scaled Agile best practices customized for Intuit, continue to build out our collective planning mindset and outcomes as a competitive advantage
  • Partner with stakeholder and development teams to define requirements for planning tools, roadmapping and data & analytics
  • Create partnerships within Product Management, Engineering, Program Management, Enterprise Architecture, Finance and with Senior Executives across the entire company to define and lead change
  • Contribute to day-to-day operations support for the E2E Planning process
  • Be a leader/teacher who role models the Intuit values and business operations domain expertise
