The Pricing Manager serves as a key integrator across Operations, Capture, BD, Contracts, Subcontracts, FP&A, and Program Control to deliver high‑quality, timely pricing products that support successful proposal submissions and sustained growth.

    • Create, refine, and maintain Pricing Workbooks, Basis of Estimate (BOE) narratives, price breakout schedules, and CLIN structures consistent with Government Uniform Pricing Templates and internal templates.
    • Interpret Government RFPs, compile pricing‑specific questions, and coordinate clarifications with internal teams and Government customers.
  • Facilitate Pricing Governance (Gate Reviews & Approvals)
    • Prepare and deliver Pricing content for Gate Reviews #1–#3, including PWS/LOE changes, competitive comparisons, technical‑to‑pricing alignment, risk assessments, cost realism considerations, and Price‑to‑Win (PTW) analysis.
    • Support continuous PTW refinement throughout the proposal lifecycle with internal and external data sources.
    • Manage Green Team pricing review cadence, including updated meeting structures introduced by Laurie Freise to streamline GT1–GT3 sequencing.
    • Ensure all pricing information requiring Executive Leadership Team (ELT) approval complies with Odyssey’s Official Pricing Approval Policy.
  • Subcontractor Pricing Management
    • Develop and distribute Subcontractor Data Calls , including templates and instructions, and evaluate subcontractor proposals for rate consistency, compliance, and competitiveness.
    • Lead subcontractor price analysis, workshare assessments, risk identification, negotiations, and integration of subcontractor data into Prime pricing volumes.
  • Pricing Strategy & Competitive Intelligence
    • Conduct ERI/BLS market data research, mapping, market salary analysis, indirect rate modeling, and pricing strategy development in partnership with Operations and BD teams.
    • Identify key proposal narrative topics to highlight Odyssey strengths and competitor weaknesses within cost narratives.
    • Incorporate Government‑provided escalation guidance or independently source inflation assumptions when required.
  • Proposal Integration & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with Proposal Managers to review templates, incorporate narrative requirements, align cost and technical volumes, and ensure compliance matrices are fully supported by pricing deliverables.
    • Coordinate closely with Contracts, Operations, FP&A, and Program Control to maintain consistency across price, staffing, and technical assumptions.
    • Support post‑submittal actions including evaluation notices (ENs), interchange notices (INs), post‑mortem reviews, archiving, and lessons learned documentation.
  • Pricing Process Ownership & Continuous Improvement
    • Maintain and update Odyssey’s Pricing Process documentation, ensuring integration of new methodologies, lessons learned, and enterprise improvements. Examples include transition‑pricing guidelines discussed in internal chats.
    • Lead implementation, training, and full integration of ProPricer software into Odyssey’s pricing workflow.
