This role will also assist the Country Manager with go-to-market and partnership projects, including strategic partner opportunities, priority launches, market-facing activations, and engagement with senior collaborators.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, high-ownership operator with strong creative instincts, commercial judgment, and a principled approach to execution. They should be an excellent relationship manager, a confident cross-functional leader, and someone who thrives in fast paced, ambiguous environments. This person should bring the outlook of an athlete: resilient, accountable, competitive, team-oriented, and passionate about delivering results.

What you will accomplish:

  • Lead the eBay Live Canada programming strategy and calendar, making sure live events correspond to category priorities, seller opportunities, cultural moments, seasonal campaigns, and business objectives.
  • Direct Programming, Production, and Merchandising for eBay Live Canada, making sure each live event is engaging for buyers, beneficial for sellers, and operationally feasible.
  • Convert category strategies and seller priorities into live programming concepts, partner activations, merchandising plans, and go-to-market campaigns.
  • Lead and guide the Programming function, providing direction, prioritization, mentoring, and operating rhythms to support high-quality execution across live events and campaigns.
  • Act as the main liaison for Marketing regarding eBay Live Canada programming and GTM rollout, guaranteeing campaigns, content, messaging, merchandising, and promotional plans are coordinated.
  • Assist the Country Manager with strategic partnerships and GTM initiatives, covering priority partner activations, market-facing launches, external relationships, and cross-functional planning.
  • Collaborate closely with Category Management to grasp commercial priorities, seller readiness, supply gaps, buyer demand, and category-specific opportunities that should guide programming decisions.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and seller-facing teams to bring priority sellers, brands, creators, agencies, and external partners into the eBay Live programming and activation roadmap.
  • Develop and complete tentpole events, recurring franchises, seller-led shows, partner-led activations, seasonal campaigns, and category-specific programming moments.
  • Lead the operating model for programming delivery, including planning cadences, calendars, readiness trackers, run-of-show standards, production workflows, merchandising plans, and post-event reviews.

  • Use data and insights to evaluate programming performance, including GMV impact, buyer engagement, repeat viewership, seller performance, merchandising efficiency, and campaign outcomes.
  • See opportunities for improving the quality, consistency, and scalability of eBay Live Canada programming, production, merchandising, and GTM execution.
  • Prepare clear updates, recommendations, and business reviews for the Country Manager and cross-functional leadership, emphasizing performance, risks, opportunities, and next-best actions.
