As an Operational Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting operational performance by analyzing system data, monitoring key metrics, and helping teams make informed decisions that enhance efficiency and service delivery.
What you'll do
In this role, you'll support the performance of operational systems by analyzing data from tools such as SCADA and other monitoring platforms, with a focus on plant output, energy usage, and system efficiency. You'll translate this data into actionable insights that help optimize operations, improve reliability, and proactively identify issues.
You'll develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs), providing visibility into operational health and supporting both day-to-day decision-making and longer-term planning. Your work will help ensure consistency, accuracy, and accessibility of operational data across teams.
Working closely with operations, engineering, and business stakeholders, you'll investigate variances, support performance reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing risk, and advancing Enwave's sustainability objectives.
What we're looking for
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational and system performance data
- Experience working with SCADA systems, operational data platforms, or similar monitoring tools
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar)
- Experience developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational dashboards
- Ability to translate technical data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- 2-5 years of experience in operations, energy, utilities, or a related analytical role
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Experience in district energy, utilities, or infrastructure operations is considered an asset.
Compensation
The expected base salary range for this role is $90,000-110,000, based on experience, skills, and alignment with the role.
